Negima Yakitori Skewers
Chicken and leek skewers have always been our go to yakitori flavor, a simple combination that is equal parts savory and healthy (that's what we tell ourselves...after all, it has vegetables in it and is most definitely healthier than the pure chicken skin skewer). While some love it with just salt and pepper, we like ours drenched in tare (sauce); not just any tare, but the one traditionally used for grilled eels. Not the most traditional, but just the way we like it.
PS: Line the bottom of the tray with rice and let it soak up all the tare and juices as you baste and grill those skewers to perfection
